My career and passion for event planning began with an event management internship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Tampa Bay. I then grew into the Event and Marketing Coordinator position for Hyde Park Village (a high end, outdoor lifestyle shopping center owned by WS Development). I challenged myself with a complete lifestyle change and moved to NYC, seeking new experiences-professional & personal. Finding myself in the Trade Expositions world of events, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) was my new team. From 250 to 37,000+ attendee events, the trade expo industry was a whole new level of achievements. I have built a career on the essential facets of successful event planning, project management and marketing – connecting people, devising smart solutions, and seeing the big picture while mastering the fine details.

 

I may have had one title, but my day-to-day work with Hyde Park Village included a range of, well, everything! With a focus on strategically helping business owners realize their goals with creative marketing solutions and activating the property as an event venue, I bring an intimate knowledge of sponsorship dollars, brand awareness, social media, and relationships with vendors, the city of Tampa and diverse third party teams.  I have managed, planned and coordinated events ranging from high-profile and annual signature events to nonprofit fundraisers, outdoor festivals and grand opening celebrations.  

 

The chapter where I moved my talents to New York City! That's right, the crazy, unique, eclectic, "it's its own world", city.  I have grown tremendously, mastered skills and continue to strive to created exceptional experiences.  WIth my new team and strong partnerships, I am excited to excell and challenge myself with ICSC'S -International Council of Shopping Centers- Global Trade Exposition Department. That being said, I have ventured out to a completely different scene to experience all I can in another location with inspired minds alike.  Join me on my journey!
